James Controls, LLC Awarded Refinery Heater SIS Project

Cherry Hill – James Controls was awarded engineering and design to implement a Safety Instrumented System on a refinery crude unit heater. Work included preparation of the LOPA, SIL calculations and verification, Safety Requirements Specification, Emerson DeltaV panel design, new RIE and UPS, field instrumentation and valve specifications, field installation design, operating and maintenance procedures, commissioning and startup.
